By downloading or using these Trial Font Files, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, do not download or use the files.

  1. What You Are Receiving These are full versions with Desktop Licensing of the font software (“Fonts”) provided by Heatwave by Meg Burk (“Foundry”) in OTF file type.
  2. Ownership The Fonts remain the intellectual property of the Foundry.
  3. Commercial Use To use the Typeface in any published or commercial work, you must purchase the appropriate license at www.bymegburk.com. Trial Font files must not be used in place of a purchased license.
  4. No Warranty The Fonts are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. The Foundry is not liable for any damage, loss, or claim arising from your use of the Trial Fonts.
  5. Termination This license terminates immediately if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination, you must delete all Trial Font files from your devices.

Covers the creation of static and video-based design outputs using desktop software, including client delivery, provided fonts are either embedded within a licensed application or the glyphs are fully outlined before delivery.

Permitted Use:

  1. All print materials: posters, books, catalogues, packaging Static digital files: PDFs, presentations, social graphics
  2. Signage, wayfinding, architectural graphics
  3. Merchandise (apparel, objects, physical products)
  4. Outdoor advertising: billboards, transit, street furniture
  5. Static ePub and eBook files
  6. Static web banners
  7. Motion graphics and video: title sequences, lower thirds, on-screen text, broadcast
  8. Client deliverables where fonts are fully outlined in the supplied file
  9. Files created in cloud tools (e.g. Canva, Figma) that do not embed font software
  10. Video advertisements and digital campaigns

Not Permitted:

  1. Delivering live (non-outlined) font files to a client unless that client holds their own license
  2. Using fonts on live websites (requires Web License)
  3. Embedding fonts into apps or software (requires App License)
